Donating your vehicle to Green Mountain Habitat is a great way to support our work. Plus, towing is free, you may be eligible for a tax deduction, and you'll be helping low-income families in Northwest Vermont build safe and affordable places to call home.
Why donate your vehicle to Habitat?
Some organizations hire a for-profit agent to process car donations. In that case, the nonprofit only receives pennies on the dollar. In our case, we do the possessing, so your donation has the maximum impact on local families in need.

We accept almost all vehicles, including:

How it works
- Start your donation by calling (802) 857-5296 or email us at: restore@vermonthabitat.org
- Our team will ask about your vehicle (make, model, vehicle identification number, and mileage)
- Schedule your FREE pick-up!
- Collect your donation receipt, and feel good for supporting local families in need!

Donate to the ReStore
We encourage you to help keep more unwanted goods from our waste stream by donating your new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, clothing, or other reusable items you no longer need. Together, we can positively impact the lives of local families, our communities, and the planet.
Our ReStores accept a wide variety of items, appliances, and materials. Our staff will evaluate your donations to determine if they are in proper condition to sell at our ReStores.
