Team Building with a purpose
Team Building with Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity provides your organization with the opportunity to strengthen not only your team but our local community as well. Unlike spending a day doing trust falls and building marshmallow towers, your group will be challenged to communicate and work together to build something that makes a difference. After a Sponsored Team Build, your employees will return to the workplace motivated, connected, and inspired. We provide all the tools, materials, and training -- you just provide a tax-deductible donation and the helping hands!
About Sponsored Team Builds
With such high housing and land costs in Franklin, Grand Isle, Chittenden and Lamoille County, Sponsored Team Build donations are crucial in helping us to serve more families. This support also allows us to continue to provide affordable housing opportunities for families with limited incomes and establish safe neighborhoods. Sponsored Team Builds contribute a tax-deductible donation for up to 15 volunteers. This donation covers the cost of materials and supervision for your build.
Priding ourselves on being allies to all, we believe that a person is shaped by multiple overlapping identities, creating a reality greater than the sum of its parts. Gender, race, age, location, disability status, income, sexuality, and citizenship are a few of the many identities that shape our experiences and needs. We encourage all to volunteer with us.
Women Build
Women Build is a themed Team Build that focuses on women in construction as well as advancing women's access to affordable housing.

Our Sponsored Team Builds and other volunteer opportunities enable Vermont’s local businesses, groups, organizations, students, and everyday citizens to work together to build more resilient neighborhoods. By building with us, volunteers can learn more about the unique housing challenges faced by members of our communities and advocate for better housing solutions for all our neighbors.
