QUILTS are one of the ways we welcome our Habitat families into their new homes!
We’re grateful to partner with local quilting groups, including the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild and Franklin County Quilter’s Guild, whose talented members generously share their time, creativity, and skill to create beautiful, custom quilts for each member of a Green Mountain Habitat family. Every quilt is unique, thoughtfully crafted, and made with the recipient in mind. These quilts add a warm, personal touch to a new home and serve as a meaningful reminder that a family’s new beginning is supported by a caring community. From the careful selection of fabrics to the hours spent stitching each piece together, every quilt represents a gift of time, talent, and love.
As the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild shared:
“It is with gratitude that the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild shares our skill and love of quilting with our community. It is especially gratifying to donate quilts as a welcoming, homey touch to the new beginnings of a family in a new home.”
