On Sunday, Jan. 21, we held a dedication for our newest homeowners in Colchester on Canyon Estates Drive.
Our Family Support and Family Selection Committees joined our partner family and staff to celebrate their accomplishment.
David Mullin, CEO of Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity, spoke about the meaning of this home for the family and guided the ceremony.
The family was given quilts, created by members of the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild, and teddy bears for each child from Vermont Teddy Bear.
The family will move into their new home at the end of January.
The parents of the family hold up the five teddy bears for each of their children.
A quilt for each family member is presented on a rack. The quilts were created by members of the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild.
