WILLISTON, VERMONT (12/1/2024) — David Richards, co-founder Vermont Construction Company, joins the Board of Directors at Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity.
“We are excited to have David to join our Board of Directors,” said David Mullin, CEO of Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity. “His knowledge and experience in the construction industry will be extremely valuable as we continue to grow. He will provide a great, new perspective to our operations.”
VCC has worked with GMHFH since early 2023, and they have committed to donating a new roof to every new Habitat for Humanity home. In total, Vermont Construction has installed five roofs for Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity since the partnership began.
“I am excited to be joining an organization that makes real impact tackling one largest challenges facing Vermonters,” said Richards.

About Habitat for Humanity
Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The non-profit housing organization has since become a leading global nonprofit working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and more than 70 countries. Families and individuals who need a hand-up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower.
