Donate Items to the ReStore

Drop Off, or Request a Free Pick Up.
Have big or bulky items to donate? Don’t worry, we’ll come to you. You can schedule your free pick up online, or call our donations hotline at 802-857-5296 ext. 4.
DONATION GUIDELINES
We gladly accept new and gently used:
- Antiques
- Appliances
- Artwork
- Cabinetry (in good condition, doors and drawers intact)
- Clothing (clean, no rips or stains)
- Electronics (less than 5 years old, working order)
- Flooring
- Furniture (in good condition, structurally sound)
- Garden supplies
- Hardware
- Home goods
- Lighting (LED only, in good condition)
- Lumber and plywood (6ft or longer, no scraps)
- Plumbing
- Recreational equipment
- Small engines
- Tools (in working order)
- Trial mattress (donated by a manufacturer, not an individual)
- TVs (thin, flat screen only)
- Windows
- Vehicles (cars, trucks, boats, RVs, bikes, snow mobiles, ATVs)
We politely decline:
- Baby cribs, car seats
- Corded blinds
- CRT style TVs
- Fluorescent and can lights
- Hazardous materials
- Light bulbs
- Moldy materials
- Paint and stain
- Printers, fax machines, scanners
- Sheetrock sheets less than 4×4
- Stuffed toys (unless new)
- Unframed mirrors and glass
- Used mattresses and box springs
All donations at staff discretion. 100% of net proceeds support Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity’s building efforts in Chittenden County. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, all donations are tax-deductible.
