WILLISTON, VERMONT (3/25/2024) – Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity hired Scott Rogers as the new Director of Development and Communications.
Rogers’ role is to manage the external affairs of the organization, including fundraising, grant writing, and communication strategy. He oversees a team of three individuals that include marketing, volunteering, and development.
“We’re excited to have Scott on board,” said CEO David Mullin. “Scott is already engaged in the affordable housing efforts in his community, and we are excited to see how he can bring his talents to this position.”
Rogers brings a wealth of experience to his new role as the Director of Development and Communications at Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity.
Drawing from his experience in community and economic development, particularly highlighted during his tenure at CEDO with the City of Burlington, along with his active engagement with the Williston Housing Committee, Rogers exhibits a profound passion for addressing housing challenges.
“I am eager to make a meaningful impact,” said Rogers. “I’m thrilled to collaborate with the team at Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity to amplify their efforts in building homes and extending support to more individuals and families in need within the community.”
Scott lives in Williston with his family, dogs, and chickens.
