Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is excited to welcome a new Director of Operations and a Grant Writer to the organization.
Jonathon Goldhammer, Director of Operations, is returning to GMHFH in this new role. He worked for GMHFH for over ten years as ReStore Director before transitioning to another role with Habitat for Humanity International. Goldhammer’s expertise will be highly influential for organizational growth.
Mike Chamness, Grant Writer, comes to GMHFH with a plethora of expertise and skills in nonprofit fundraising and grant solicitation. In this new position, Chamness will play an important role in helping to keep our homes affordable for partner families as the cost of construction and materials continues to rise.
“We are thrilled to have these two talented individuals join our team,” said David Mullin, CEO. “With over 60 projects in the pipeline, we are excited to have more people join our team who are dedicated to our mission of ensuring that everyone has a decent place to live.”
The GMHFH Board of Directors has committed to increasing home production from 5 to 6 homes annually to building 10 homes a year.
“As we grow, these additional staff will help us expand our capacity for larger projects and to have a greater impact,” said Mullin.
