The committee will conduct a comprehensive national search to find a candidate who shares Habitat’s vision and possesses the leadership experience necessary to guide the organization into its next chapter.
“We are committed to finding a leader who will build upon the strong foundation David has established,” added Johnson. “Our search will focus on identifying someone with proven nonprofit leadership experience, a passion for affordable housing, and the ability to engage our diverse community of supporters.”
The search process is expected to conclude by late 2025, allowing for a smooth transition before David’s retirement. During this transition period, the organization will continue its vital work of building homes and strengthening communities throughout Vermont.
